From 60-200 with I have been dealing with ping spikes on and off in Tarkov which make the game totally unplayable. they're working on it. The rest of us could play in different matches with other people that have ping issues over 150 ms. yeah man it sucks. Every other game I play ping stays 30-70, but whenever I'm in a raid in tarkov, or loading into a match, my ping instantly spikes to 500-1000 and stays in that range until Tarkov DCs me, at which point it instantly drops back to 30-70. The reason why using a vpn lowered your ping is likely due to piss poor routing. So I literally can't play tarkov due to ping levels reaching up to 2000ms which is seriously odd because I've been playing the game for about 3 years with no issue and no changes to my internet or anything related. Ping isnt a solid number, it doesnt sit still, it fluctuates and spikes, someone with 200 ping cant play, all it does is lesseb the amount of times people get randomly disconnected out of nowhere in the middle of a match or That’s the loaded ping. So if my ping spikes above 150 for even a split second now, despite being <130 the vast majority of the time, I now get kicked and have to spend 5 minutes reloading the map for some reason to get back in. Ping tested to 20 different servers around the world with good ping. This connection is deeply hindering to my experience, as the spikes are of complete randomness and make the game completely unplayable.
